Striving to maintain the classification of English Pointer's as "The Cadillac of all Bird Dogs".

About Us

About Us

Our breeding goal is to produce dogs that can out-perform their ancestors. We feel honored to follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest minds that mastered this process. They have provided us with the foundation needed to raise the breed of English Pointers to the next level. The best way to remember their efforts is to continue their success to the best of our ability and not to settle for anything less than superseding generations.

On a more personal level, I feel that there are a few things that God granted us on this amazing world of his that are nothing but raw and natural beauty. They are truly art in action. Watching a lonesome man on a creek casting a fly rod, reading the water, with precision to every movement in his body, articulating that exactness through the rod and line to the fly. An Eagle soaring on the wind, floating so effortlessly, without worry or concern. Knowing that he is an apex predator and he will eat, he will soar, and he will do these things majestically with a confidence that sometimes can be so difficult for man to understand. The top of the list though, is a finished bird dog. He not only knows his game, but enjoys mastering it. He moves with the grace of a ballerina, bows to each and every wish of his handler as if to read their mind. He understands the hunt and the birds he so longs to find. Between him and his owner there is a bond that is so cherished by each of them that no single thing can overcome. They work together in unison knowing each others thoughts and every move. I am still amazed and the willingness of these dogs to become part of a team, to be so strong willed and have such a heart full of love for a sport, but so humbled that even though something may be against their strongest instinct they refrain simple because it would be unpleasing to the owner. I think we could learn a lot from these dogs as a race in everyday life, and in turn our world would be a better place.

With that in mind that bond of total trust and teamwork is the end goal of each of our dogs. Each and every one of us have talked about, hunted with, or even tried to sell a finished bird dog. The truth is, any of you who have owned a dog will agree I think, that our dogs are never truly finished until that day that we are separated for reasons out of our control. They learn from even the shortest simplest walks. They are ever so watchful of each and every move we make, the tone in our voice, and sometimes know before we do that we are in a bad mood. That in my opinion is a walking, tail-wagging, giving you their all, art gallery.
