Rachael's Page
I have been bird hunting for two years, and I love it. I got started when my big brother, Jason took me hunting with him, I had a ball. I have always been a dog lover. When Jason asked, "How did you like it?" I responded, " I absolutely loved it!". I have been hunting ever since, but I didn't have a dog so I ran his dog, Bam Bam. I have not ran Bam Bam in a while. One day last August, Jason asked me how I would like it if I got my own dog to run, I loved the idea. We went and looked at some Brittany puppies. I picked one very special puppy that is now known as Rachael's Miss Sophia (Sophie). She is a great, sweet pet, and an awesome hunting dog. We qualified and were invited to the 2009 UFTA Nationals we had a eight minute run. We didn't win, but I was very proud of her, she was only 7 months old and it was her first time at Nationals. Sophie is now 14 months old and my best friend. Sophie and I have a great bond. Still glad I picked her I can see she was the one.
